I guessed this was yours from the extra info. I recognised your style :-) I particularly liked the one bloom squashed against the bottom of the vase.

Thank you to everybody for their nice comments. I enjoyed doing it but think I'd better go to a different florist from now on.

This is just wonderful - congratulations on a terrific composition and great pp. I'm glad you resuscitated the poor things once you'd had your way with them :)

Congratulations on 2nd. I'm glad you got to enjoy these flowers after you had abused them. So funny about the florist.

Thanks NEAT. As soon as I was happy with the photo, I cut the stems back short and put them in water. They were fresh the next day and lasted 5 days more.

Congratulations on second place. I hope you got to enjoy them a little while, whilst they were still alive :-)

Nicely done. I like the way the one flower just reaches the floor. GL.

Well composed and photographed. Message is strong, and I do get a feeling of sadness from this... Your PP is good. Well done.

like. But I think I can see your shadow (shoulders, neck and part of head especially)! MIght have tried a high key with this, and get background more uniformly white or off-white

The best of the flower still lifes. I would level the base on the left side to keep the line straight though.

I like this... artistically placed flowers... good lighting and focus.

Lol to your comments. This would've looked really good in black and white with some spectacular lighting. It definitely evokes a sense of sadness or depression. In my top five

IMHO, either the background or the vase should be a different colour.
