Thanks for the explanation; I couldn't quite figure the bar above the chair, not standard issue for sure, and never figured she was on the street. Still, gutsy as it would be, you could engage her in conversation and politely ask if you'd mind if you submitted her photo. Taking shots in public of identifiable individuals front or back is always a dilemma not easily reconciled with the (selfish) goal of getting a winning shot. I don't think there is any right answer beyond what your conscience tells you.

Definitely matching colors. Would have been nice to see a face instead of the rear view.

Jade: The situation is a bit more complicated. This individual is one of the "street people", not disabled to any extent that I could discern, and appeared to use the wheel chair to hold her meager possessions. I am not terribly comfortable doing street photography and chose to respect her privacy by shooting from the rear. In addition, this perspective gave the best matching of her jacket and mailbox. I greatly appreciate your comments and agree with your concerns both socially and photographically.

I think this one will do well for being well on topic with the blues clear and obvious. Too bad you shot from the rear which notches it down quite a bit and frankly, I just am troubled by the fact that the wheelchair person is shown from the back. It could be a statement on how we overlook the disabled, render them faceless, see them only as disabled or disabled first and a person second, etc. but the shot just looks to me like you didn't want to publish their identity or felt a need to protect the person's privacy (or just couldn't get on the right side of the shot in time). For any those reasons, I would move this down in my rankings as a result, but assuming nothing simply don't like rear end shots of anything as much as the front end.

I'd imagine this is what the theme creator had in mind when he/she came up with the theme; random objects of the same color thrown together. The blue matches so perfectly I wonder if it was processed that way. In my TT.

Good example of coincidental color match. Would like to see more clearly that he reaching for the letter slot, if indeed that's what he's doing. And why is he pushing an unoccupied wheelchair?
