Extra Info:
An interior shot of the new, controversial Aspen Art Museum designed by Shigeru Ban. This shot was taken at the top of an interior/exterior stairwell looking down to the ground level, with reflecting patterns formed by the latticework skin of the building.

What an unusual design! I would be a bit concerned for the safety of the museum goers with all of the patterns on the stairway. Great DOF, interesting capture.

A striking image that definitely shows depth but lacks a strong focal point. You might consider darkening the lower quarter to reduce some of the uniformity.

This is more like a geometric abstract, where depth of field is confusing. Interesting image, but I find it hard to tell what is in focus and what many not be, given all those intersecting lines and complex shadows.

Wow! The combination of structure, light, and shadows creates fantastic, mind-bending geometric patterns. A top favorite. It is mostly grayscale already so I would be interested in seeing how it would look with a B&W conversion.

Good choice of subject for the theme and I do like the way you've composed it. Nothing to do with your shot but I wonder if they realise how difficult it will be for some of us old crocks to negotiate those stairs with the confusing patterns. Maybe I should slide down the banister instead :-) Super shot - in my favs!

I am partially sighted and hope not to tackle those stairs with the black and whites merging and not definite edge
i do like it as a picture however
