You did this one proud!!! The care taken in building this stucture is refelected in your care in capturing this presentation of it. Congrats on a great finish.

Thanks for all of the nice comments. I pass this structure every day for the past 14 years and this was my only attempt at capturing it. Something about familiarity breeds contempt. Only kidding, it is beautiful and I am glad you liked it.

Good POV and like the mixture of historic with the modern

Great point of view! I'm glad that this survived not only the fire, but the encroachments of the modern city. In my favourites.

The interesting angle on this photo puts it in my TT. How ironic that it was a water tower that didn't get burnt!

what a beautiful building. Your viewpoint provides an amazing angle - both different and also allowing us to see all the detail without a host of sky.
Interested to know your choice for a night photo - is it the additional drama of the uplighting and the streaked car lights?

Beautifully composed, wonderful angle. High in my TT.

Interesting perspective on the old water tower. I like using the streets to frame the tower and I like the blurred car lights -- in fact I would like to see the blur lines extend all the way around the corner and up the street. So next time try a considerably longer exposure.

Like the moving lights and the decision to shoot from above. Good historical subject; I understand it's now an art & photo museum - they should hang your shot.

Interesting, I like the longer exposure. I am little bothered by the bright lights, not they are bright, but the fact that they look smudged. I would expect to see some starburst but this could just be the type of lens you are using. The smudging or blur around the light could be due to a dirty or foggy lens.
