I liked the creative framing in both of your entries. Well done.

My #1. I think it's brilliant. So well composed and PERFECT in B&W.

I think this is a much better frame but I really do miss the wonderful colour in the other shot.

Nicely done. The B&W treatment really brings out the foreground detail.

Nice composition, I like how the diagonal separates new\old.

I really like this diagonally split diptych. Each framed section contains an attractive picture in its own right, and the whole works beautifully. Top 2.

Nice job on the framing! Also like the contrast between the foreground and cityscape.

I like it. In my opinion it is better than your version in the main category. In my favorites.

BW much better choice than your color version in Main. Like it. are you telling us something by putting an arch across the cityscape; reminds me of the circle with the diagonal line used in a no entry sign for example.

I LOVE this shot. There is so much going on here. Love the bold diagonal line. The older brick building to the right and the modern city in the center. The interesting pattern created by the fence. B&W works so well too. Just great!

Like the geometric quality of the framing girders. Well-executed, though what we see through the frame might be more interesting.

Just realised where this is - I thought it was some grimy docklands in New York. Great shot separating the old and new with the diagonal. I think you were right to mask the water with the railing. Hard to say if monochrome was the right choice here. Gets my vote.
