Thanks - I must admit I didn't pay enough attention to the subject (ie players). Although I think my brain would explode trying to crop any action on the rink.
Having said that - everyone (including the Perspex) is having a rest. Who knows what invisible injuries the players also carry.

When I saw this entry, I thought, "Qixil!" It would have increased the interest if you'd caught some of the participants closer to the "filter". The obvious damage to the partition gives a glimpse into the force involved in the game. The places standing around on a break, unfortunately, are in contrast to that force. Still made my favs!

Excellent choice for the theme. I like the way the light strikes the perspex and obliterates part of the scene. Also like the panoramic effect.

The filter effect and subject go perfectly here! I wonder how many more hits that plexiglass can take?

Thanks all - it was the light effects that made this a panorama... but I see what you mean about cropping cookie. Perhaps see it as a triptych?
aoc - they swap ends each period, so it evens it up a little ;-)

There are parts of this photograph I like very much. How about removing the right hand half?

Nice effect - like the minimal use of color. I assume the Visitors won, as the ice appears to be tilted their way.

Very nice!I love the way the damaged perspex scatters the light. I also like the panoramic presentation.

Another great choice of filter as it supports the photo so well. Very inventive - Kudos.
