Extra Info: Elliot, I was asked to take some photos of this man. He is struggling with some significant health issues. I found him pretty upbeat, engaged, and finding moments to relax, smile (wonder what he was thinking about?) and be at peace. I caught him at one such moment. I wish you well-being and peace as you take on your ailment.

This is a nice, natural portrait, and it shows this man's wonderful upbeat character. B&W is a great choice to focus on the portrait and really brings out the texture.

What a wonderful capture. This too would have worked well in the "Solitude" challenge for next month. I love this image.

Very nice portrai. You might consider a tighter crop - some of the edge space isn't contributing much.

Wonderful character captured here. I like the black and white treatment and your background framing.

I love this shot. Technically it's a super B&W, and his expression is priceless. Good for him, it takes courage to smile while facing challenges. One tiny nit, the dark strip down the left edge could probably be cropped a bit more.
