Memo, The layout of Melbourne ( Australia) was influenced by the theories of the time. The idea was to surround the city with "breathing Space'. Parklands that would provide heath giving fresh air to the residents of the settlement. Also the Royal Park ,where this photograph was taken, was close to the hay market and the horse market and served as a convenient place to graze one's horse while visiting the city. We are lucky to have retained this park. There have been many resident lead battles to retain it over the years.

It's nice to be able to get away from it all even though the city is close. This meets the challenge well and is a pleasant image to view.

I'd never have guessed it was that close to the city. Beautiful place to have. How do you keep the developers at bay?

Looks like there should be a game of football or something going on out there, but I guess that would spoil the solitude somewhat. Taking the shot from in the trees added a great deal of interest to what would otherwise have been a pretty bland shot. Nice work. In my favourites.

Nicely done. I think that this perspective works for the theme.

A bit too creepy for me - I can't get past it...

Definitely a sense of solitude. I do find the tree limbs and leaves a bit distracting.

Perfect example of solitude and the hanging foliage provides a very good frame. Perhaps a touch over exposed in the background. In my T5.
