Although the skyline is fabulous in this picture, the oysterman is the star of the show. You captured it beautifully.

    Well composed and good sharpness.

I love the idea of this photo, but I am distracted from the main figure by two things - the overwhelming brightness of the sun, and the faded pink house that seems to pull my eye away from him. I really like the natural portrait of the man with his tools, backlit against the morning light.

Lovely capture, framing and color toning. My only criticism is you've taking on one of the most difficult types of photos by shooting into the sun - which has resulted in a distracting highlight blowout and sun flare. This is the kind of shot where HDR could have come in handy.

A beautiful shot with real interest. A story is being told. Maybe a bit less flare from the sun would also work.

Great scene, exposure, color. For me, the l-to-r motion and the horizontal boardwalk beg for a more horizontal crop. I'd trim just above the main line of clouds, and the same amount off the bottom and left.

really interesting picture, with both foreground and background subjects.
for me the sun is too powerful, not least because it is blown out, but even if it wasn't. did you consider a crop just to the right of the building ?

Stunning light and composition, shame about the blown out sun, seems a little noisy also. Your still in my faves though 😀😀

Yeah, that bright sun is a bit distracting, but I really like the overall feel of this image. I keep wondering how this would look if you had cropped it just left of the sun. End of a long day, hope he caught many oysters. In my TT.
