Duck Crossing       ©2017 bryanshoots
Panasonic DMC-LX100       7th place, 113 points
1/800s, f2.8, ISO 200, 75mm, Aperture Priority, Pattern, no flash

Post-Processing: Adjust curves, saturation, cropped in Lightroom.       Extra Info: I was riding a bicycle when I came across a flock of ducks crossing the road. Good thing I brought my camera and captured this crazy moment. This is a tightly cropped image as I didnt have a long enough zoom range to fill my frame.

Thanks for the feedback. These ducks were on their way to a nearby pond. They had to stop traffic for a few minutes. If you want to check the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUxo96qgrgI

I hope the road was not too slippery to continue on after they crossed! And I must ask, "Why did the duck cross the road?"

I've never seen such a mass of marching mandibles. Is this like cows coming home at milking time? It all makes for an attractive image. Well done.

Wow- that's a lot of foie gras! The white and half-white ducks in the front row really make the composition; cropping out the half-duck at the far right would make it even better IMO.

Nice! Surprised I see only one with mouth open, presumably quacking. Yeah, the tight crop softens. But, I've been zoomless before too

I like it a lot, brings a smile that overcomes any imperfections.

Gosh! I wish I had that for a challenge I'm in on another site. "Beauty in Overwhelming Numbers of Things". Fantastic!

a once in the lifetime in the right place right time shot

So why did the ducks cross the road?
Great shot - ducks have so much character.

nice capture, has a bit of humor in it. Who dose not like a good duck crossing although I have never seen one this large... in TT

Wow, are these wild or were you near a duck farm? You get my vote for its sheer comic and oddness.
