Wonderful shot. I don't mind the leaf at all, in fact I think it helps adds depth.

thank you all for the positive comments.

yes, the troubling leaf in the lower left... I tried to reduce the brightness to make it less obtrusive but I think it just pixelated it a bit - same as the right of the bottom. should have blurred it again afterwards...

it was not possible to move it physically, and I doubt I could have cloned it out entirely

i'll post the original in outtakes... and some more from the same shoot

The foreground leaf covering her wing is a bit distracting, but overall a nice shot.

Like the shades of green. Lower left corner distracting.

Absolutely beautiful. You've captured the soft green of the aging stone perfectly. The composition is lovely and the detail of the statue against the blurred background is striking.

Man versus nature! Very evocative. In my TT.

I really love this. The sculpture is beautiful and I like the embrace of greenery about her. The limited colour palette works well. I love the way the spots of lichen and the background bokeh combine to create an overall texture. Could be my number 1.

like the shot. Makes me think of serenity. Wonder about the bottom portion of the wing; looks cloned but odd/unnatural? Not sure, but might of been better off leaving whatever was there or working more on the pp

Very nice... like the way the color green is every where, focus and composition right on.

This is great. She looks like she is struggling to free herself from the constraints of the vegetation.

This is really very nice, I love how the statue is literally obscured by the plants. Good composition too.

Framing, lighting, and DOF all good here. The somber mood of this entry is touching.
