Great finish for an imaginative shot. I did not get the pizza Saturday but I am getting it today. Well done

A "different" take on the others and nice and colourful, as well as good technically.

    Thanks for the great comments.

Lo - I was pleased with the natural way it turned out.

I'm really impressed by the colour and realism of this shot. I know that pictures of food are very difficult to capture accurately - it's an art in itself. Oboy that looks good!

interesting choice of subject, and nicely composed (the reflected pizza forming a continual diagonal line between pizza and cutter is vey nice, plus just enough thumb...

my only query is whether a completely clean wheel would have been better... i.e. without the bits of food/ moisture - but I appreciate this is more realistic

What a clever take on the theme. I am salivating just looking at the image. I like the reflection of the pizza ingredients in the pizza wheel. I know what I am having for dinner tonight.

Thanks very much for the comments all.

aoc46 - I know what you mean about the clear reflection. I aimed for as clear as possible but the cutter is old and well used so the reflection was far from perfect. This wasn't helped by the fact that the wheel steamed up as soon as it touched the pizza. In the end I let the pizza go cool and heated up the blade. This helped quite a bit.

Neat idea! The food bits on the blade help show that the cutter is in action (as does the finger), but the shot would be more appealing IMO if the blade were showing a clean reflection.

I like the idea and this shot anyway...but, I am really hungry as I now view this. Makes me want to head over to the pizza place, now!

Ah, nice original idea! Oddly, the food bits on the wheel I find a bit distracting, maybe because I want to see more of the reflection on it.
