Steve, I often take several looks at a work over time. In this case, I must say this portrait has grown considerably on me. It is fine work. Reminds me of a scene in Dr. Zhivago where Yevgraf is looking out over the workers from the labor camp office window.

Had I had a week to look over entries, I believe that I would have moved the placement of your work way up. Either way, nice work.

Congrats, I would also like to see this in sepia as well.

Very nice. I like the framing, pose and muted tones. You remind me of a general (Russian?) looking out on the field of battle pondering his armies next move!

Very nice portrait. Perfect placement of the shutters to allow all features to be present and framed. High in my faves.

Suits to the topic. In my favorites.

I like the use of the formal grid to frame a casual pose. The composition gives a sense of your character.

Great result. I keep thinking this could not have been easy. I assume you used the timer, but what did you focus on? In my TT

Great idea, extremely creative and perfectly executed. High in my favs. I wonder if sepia would have worked as well.
