Congrats - great composition - love the black trees on the right which seem to reflect the incoming storm.

I was biking when I saw this scene. Unfortunately my Lumix was not with me so I used my smartphone... Thanks Panachallenge for having an open category :) !

Many thanks for the interesting comments and votes !
No regrets for the second second place, the first photo is absolutely stunning.

Congratulations. A wonderful photo. I want to walk down that road and see what's at the end.

Odd that the leading lines lead away from the most beautiful part of the composition, but it seems to provide a type of balance. The variety of colors are pleasing. In my favs.

I love the way the yellow pops against that sombre sky. High in faves.

Beautiful strong colours against the turbulent dark sky. Nice use of leading lines to draw the eye in.

Interesting concept - like the contrast between the colorful field and the threatening sky. You might consider darkening the sky even more and adding a vignette to increase the 'ominous' feel. A crop that puts the yellow field exactly in the lower third could enhance the graphic quality of the composition.
