May 15, 2018		     I would like to see this cropped just above the front part of the back of the chair. I would also like to lessen the distraction of the book titles and flash reflection on some of them by using a shallower DOF, which would have also allowed lowering the flash intensity. In my favs anyway as your focus on the subject is quite good.

May 12, 2018		     Nice, well-composed portrait. Instead of flash, consider off-axis lighting to add modeling to the subject and reduce brightness of the distracting background. Larger aperture and/or more subject-to-background distance also would help reduce the distraction.

May 12, 2018		     Clearly focused, a natural expression. I think it needs a bit more of a story. perhaps if he was holding one of the books in the shot?
