Post-Processing: Reduced haze, increased sharpness and colour saturation, cropped and resize for entry.       Extra Info: Fascinating find out the back of an old navy shipyard site recently opened to the public. My camera had run out of battery- so resorted to phone for this one.

Thank-you for your comments. I am pleasantly surprised that other people liked this photograph. Mepo I had to catch the ferry back and my camera had already run out of charge, but I agree with your sentiment. ysal the area was rather restricted with lots of passers by and a deep dock a few metres behind me. I had already overstayed so the sun was low and producing flair.

I would probably stay overtime exploring this shipyard. Love the detail you have chosen. It's a shame about the haze on the left side.

It is a great subject for a picture (such pipework always reminds me of scenes in Terry Gilliam's film Brazil) - and the rock itself is interesting (almost too much so)

Shame that you were out of battery, as i think there is real potential in this setting.

Not sure this is the right composition - tricky to get something that is not too busy yet retains the complexity. a lot of leading lines!

The left side looks like there's flare/ burnt highlights, but i wonder if this is where I'd concentrate with a square/portrait crop - albeit sacrificing the interesting rocks on the right, and cutting off the very far left

I like the different shades of rock.

Interesting shapes and colors, esp. the long, curving pipes.

Crazy pipe work! They are just attached to rock walls? Would like to see a shot pulled back showing more of the scene.
