Jul 15, 2018		     i think i would have preferred this without the candle, as the brightness dominates the subtle rose and toning. i appreciate that it is your lighting source, but maybe epic cloning could have taken it out?

Jul 14, 2018		     Glad you like it despite the flaws, but with some judicious exposure tuning (highlight and shadow detail recovery), you might like it even better.

Jul 13, 2018		     i use faststone for pp and played with your entry. lowering the highlights got the candle under control and raising the shadow did bring out a bit more of the flower. but still very pleasing as is.

Jul 13, 2018		     The overall colors are very pretty and I like how the flower is backlit. My eye keeps going to the candle while I really want to focus on the rose.

Jul 13, 2018		     Simplicity in composition is good. Would like a secondary source of light or some shadow brightening to see just a little more detail in the flower.
