Post-Processing: Cropped, noise reduction, Lightness/ Contrast, a bit hue and saturation enhancement, Sharpened, resized, USM       Extra Info: The seagull was standing on the top of the buoy and I took the picture when it was starting to fly.

Jul 30, 2018		     The seagull started the flight from the top of the pole. I left the pole in the picture to show, that there is something sharp too in the picture.

Jul 29, 2018		     The slow speed has certainly captured the movement of the gull's wings, which is ethereally beautiful. The pole is distracting, though I assume you left it in the photo to add context. There is also quite a bit of graininess in the photo.

My preference would be for a more blurred background - to isolate the bird more against the trees. But you're shooting at 600mm so i imagine that a f2 setting is unlikely to be available?!
Quite a grainy feel to the picture - could you have been more aggressive with noise in pp?

Jul 28, 2018		     I have commented on others what I will say here. I feel this is an image which is lessened by employing the techniques of the Challenge. I would love to see this bird sharp and frozen mid flight, perhaps with a panned blurred background....the foreground orange object also distracts.

Jul 27, 2018		     I like the concept but the image is really noisy, were you far away and this is tightly cropped?
