I think some notes really would have helped you. I was one who thought that this was a pp creation. It is a lovely image.

I thought this would be in the top five, a very vivid image well done!

Not sure what it is that is moving here, but I like the pretty result!

I'd like to give a big thanks to those who gave me kind comments and to the others I agree there isn't such a sense of motion as many of the entries. I'm afraid I had complete inspiration paralysis for this challenge.

Sorry to those who wanted some explanation as to what you were seeing when deciding what to comment and vote but I wanted people to experience the photo for what it was rather than how it was 'created'.

As for 'created', I get the feeling some people thought is was mainly done in PP but this is just about a straight a photo as they come. This is simply a photo of my mobile phones screen resting on my kitchen counter in a dark room with the screen brightness set to maximum. The pattern you see is the starting pattern from a program I downloaded called 'Particle Flow' (hence the title). It's a great little piece of software to mess around with for a few minutes if you feel like killing time. The lines look blurred to the human eye but the camera picks them up as a line of dots in this photo. It was enter this photo or nothing so that's what I did. I photographed exactly the same program but a single finger touch for my Main entry - see I told you I had inspiration paralysis! ;-) .

This reminds me of a kalaidescope. I love the colours and shapes you have created.

    Good sharpness

Spectacular image. No doubt you started with some sort of movement blur but to me this does not seem representative of the theme.

Still don't know how this was done :) I like your Main entry better, as it conveys more the movement blur concept. Here I feel there is more movement but less blur. Anyway it's enough to make my top ten :) and now tell us what it is :-D

I am unsure of the technique and as interesting as the effect appears here to me, it doesn't quite excite my vote.

A very striking image, but I don't see much in the way of blur.

Hope you tell us later what this is. Pretty shot.

You should have added some information here on what this is. It is a striking image, but hardly looks like a photo, although it might be, who knows... Intriguing patterns nonetheless.

Has the look of a scientific experiment with a crystal and light. Perfect geometric symmetry.

Love to know what this is, turned out pretty cool.
