Convert to BW using built in tool in PS Elements; correct lens distortion; clone out a modern water bottle; adjust exposure; sharpen; resize
Extra Info:
This was a working train station in the late 1800's. It had been abandoned until it was moved to a botanical garden in 1970, and it is now a rail museum.

Congrats, good choice to remove the bottle!

Thanks for the explanation about the desk. Also thanks for the nice comments on my Main entry. I thought that it adhered to the title of the theme "It's About Time"; however, I did not give much thought to the need for an actual clock face, which obviously cost me some votes. I will try to do better next time.

Thank you for your comments and votes!!
For those of you who commented about the placement of the furniture: This is actually a display at this museum and I wasn’t allowed to touch anything, although the desk looked to be used by the museum personell.
Lo: I decided not to use sepia because it seemed too cliche. I did try it later and I admit it looked good.

Not only have you got the clock, but you have presented a slice of time past. Nice photo too. In my faves.

The lighting is excellent for the subject - gives a real sense of time gone by.

This lovely photo represents time in so many ways. Well done.

An excellent choice for the theme. The old office really has character. I'm curious as to your use of B&W instead of the warm wood tones.

Stylistically in sympathy to the history in the subject. Very nice.

Interesting image that works well as B&W. The only thing that detracts from it is the right edge. I would like it much better if you had shifted more to the right so that only the desk and chair were in view. The light is really good.

Great representation of an old office scene, and the clock is a perfect fit. Someone working away at the desk would add more appeal.

I like the overall idea. I might have tried to move the chair in towards the desk a bit and then crop the right side of the image, up to the post to eliminate the distracting hat, chair, etc. How would sepia tones work in this image?
