I've tried taking macros of forget-me-nots many times, seldom with much success. This is lovely! Very high in my faves.

Thank you very much for the lovely comments (and some not so lovely ;-) .

The age old debate regarding getting most or all of a subject sharp front to back, or just the details in the foreground, rages on it seems :-) .

aoc46 - if you are seeing reds then we have quite different monitor settings. I gave the flowers a bit of 'breathing room' as I have been accused more than once in the past of cropping too tightly to fill the frame.

Suits to the topic. The aperture is good, but somehow the sharpness is not good in the whole flower. In my favorites.

You've made beautiful use of DOF to focus on the flowers in the foreground. Excellent shot!

The pale blue is somewhat dominated by the reds and yellows. Cropping out most of the surrounding dark area would improve the shot.

Lovely shot. I've always loved the dainty colors of FMN flowers. High in my TT, maybe #1
