Thanks Bernie, ysal, Franz07 and Lo. I found it very interesting trying to rank all those images about abandon, decay and chaos. Hopefully we also have nice and well-maintained buildings !

Congrats on a high finish in your own challenge theme. My wife called it "Celebrating Decay".

Congratulations on this nice result. Decay has an element of chaos. Your photo shows this very well.

Thanks for all comments and votes. The suggestion of a tighter crop is interesting to help having a more readable image

Good subject for the challenge and interesting image. Technically very well done. I think it is hard to create any kind of orderly composition out of such a chaotic scene. For that reason I think that perhaps taking less a wide angle shot might have enabled you to find a more organized composition in the chaos.

Theatrical composition showing ceiling works well here.

Wow! How do you clean up a mess like that? Once a university? Shame.

Wow what a mess! The total lack of care for this building is obvious. I like the half wall to the left. It makes me feel as if I'm in forbidden territory.

Looks really abandoned. In my favorites.

It looks as if they did not finish the construction work before they left this place on its own. Good finding for the theme.

@Robert, I agree it's a shame. There are about ten buildings in this state on the site. I do not understand why this site is not cleaned, at least to recover the land that is in the middle of the city.

Right on theme. Excellent example of Urbex. It is a shame to see such decay. What will happen to the structure?

Interesting subject but challenging, as there is so much going on that the viewer hardly knows where to look. Converting to B&W or sepia would help reduce the clutter, and some vignette could direct the eye toward the center.

    wow, what a scene!

Fascinating shot - so much foreground debris and love those lamps/speaker cones (?)

I wonder if a tighter crop would have been beneficial? The rising blocks (?) directly in front of you on the left competes with the diagonal leading lines on the floor. You could have cropped from the left to the door on the back wall.
