    All -
Thanks for your kind comments, and glad you enjoyed the pattern/abstraction, which was my driving idea.
I'll post a picture of the whole Millenium mill building in outtakes - it is huge (and connects to the victorian brick building from my main entry)

- definitely no cloning!
- I had not spotted that issue re the lowest rows in each window being broken most - interesting thought.
When you see the picture of the whole building you may rethink, but why they are smashed like that i don't know.
- bottom row was only included to keep it as a square picture.

- plenty of people have risked their lives and gone in to explore - here's one I found:

Love the symmetry and pattern. Black and white focuses the viewer on the detail.

Piet Mondrian would be very pleased with this. Grim.

The monochrome palette, the repetitiveness of the windows, with the broken panes adding their own pattern, makes for a wonderful abstract. Excellent processing and cropping to frame it perfectly.

Cool photo. It reminds me of one of my past entries only better.

This photo puzzles me though. Why are there more panes of glass (if that's what they are) broken/smashed lower down in each window? I would have thought that the lower rows of windows would have been smashed as easier to reach and less the higher they got but this is not the case. Very odd?

Only one thing I think might have improved it and that is to crop off the bottom smaller row of windows. Their smaller size and appearance spoils the pattern somewhat.

I can't look at this photo without trying to match up broken panes to see if you've cloned any. Must...stop...looking..... ;-)

Inside must be a treasure trove of images. I like the abstractnesss of this image.

Like the simplicity of color and design, as well as the variety in the patterns of broken windows. Doesn't bother me that there's no single center of interest. Nice!
