Nice framing and timing. I don't see any trash, so I'm not sure if this is on theme.

I suspect that most, like me, thought of this challenge as presenting the negative aspects of trash. You've shown that it doesn't have to be that way - a nice twist! And well-shot, also.

I like the composition of the blurred people - perfectly in step and retaining sufficient detail... especially the bow (?) on her heel.
I'm torn about how 'on theme' this is (bins are not trash in themselves), but it is an interesting picture.

I think I am confused too. I took this photo to as closely fit in with your challenge description as possible but I seem to have failed in your eyes somewhere. You said to photograph 'Trash' (not a word that's ever used over here) which I took to mean organised Rubbish (as in the wheelie bins) OR 'Discarded Stuff in Public Spaces' which I visualised as litter thrown on the street. My council is very efficient and even going to the city centre soon after a large rally almost all the rubbish was tidied away into bags and bins.

You said to "try to include more of the scene", which is why I included the church. You said to "try to include people" which is why I included what I thought were quite artily blurred foreground figures. I also thought there was a touch of juxtaposition for you between the church/God and rubbish/trash, but somewhere I seem to have totally misunderstood what you were after. Maybe you would have preferred my outtakes?

It could be another case of 'lost in translation' across the pond?

Trash and trash bins are not the same thing so I didn't understand at first how this fit the challenge. As a composition what jumps out is the bright blue window of the church. The blurred figures in the foreground further confuse the nominal subject of the composition, i.e., trash/trash bins.
