Post-Processing: Distort and Free Transform to correct verticals
Dodge and Burn
Clone tool

Sharpened
Slight saturation boost to the centre of the wheel.

Extra Info: The constantly changing positions and color of the lights on the wheel's spokes when rotated, produced and almost unlimited array of patterns, when photographed with a long exposure.

This pattern is my favourite though some others are close.

What an amazing effect you have caught here. Well done and perfect for the theme. One thing bothers me. I feel it's leaning slightly to the left.

Lo - I was thinking exactly the same thing when I was taking the photos :-) .

What an amazing result. I'm sure the people standing there have no idea how beautiful this ferris wheel can actually be. Love the tack sharp building and the jet black sky. Great exposure.

    Thanks both :-)

ysal - Yeah, I was surprised too by the way they turned out. Way better than I expected :-) .

Wow, it is amazing that a long exposure can generate such a crisp clear pattern. Very pretty.

Glad you like it :-). I did try a clop of just the wheel on its own but decided to leave part of the building in as it gave a good contrast between static and moving objects during the exposure time.

Great image of the wheel; the people are a nice touch. The building, however, is a distraction - ironically, because it's so well shot. Consider darkening and slightly defocusing it, or crop it out altogether.

Thanks very much :-) . I straightened the building a lot! You should have seen it originally ;-) . The side nearest the wheel is slightly off vertical, but I thought that was a small price to pay to get a more circular wheel.

Marvelous feeling of motion. I imagine that the patterns were infinite. You choose a great one. I think that the overall image might be improved if you would have tried to straighten the building on the left, using the transform - skew function.
