Apple iphone 6s       9th place, 59 points
1/170s, f2.2, ISO 25, 29mm, Normal Program, Pattern, no flash

Post-Processing: Increased contrast and vibrance some. Decreased highlights slightly.       Extra Info: The depth of field of the iphone's small sensor allowed both the car's interior and distant scene to be in sharp focus. The main points of interest (door handles, seat back, and distant vehicles) form a triangle. I think that leads the eye around the image while keeping it within the frame. The composition uses the car window to frame the scene outside. The large trees also act as another framing element -- sort of like a frame within a frame within a frame.

Lovely view framed by the car windows. The windows are interesting in themselves with their cracks and grunge.

I can see that small mobile phone sensor giving you the large DOF but I'm more impressed with the sensor handling the brightness of the scene and the darkness of the inside of the car with ease in a single exposure!

It's best not to say what you used to take the photo with in the Extra Info, as we are supposed to keep the camera info secret till the end ;-) .

What is the pale blue on the glass? Effective photo.

A well-executed shot that's quite evocative of rural life. I like how the seat cushion picks up colors in the view outside. I have a slight problem in that the vehicle's interior details are so interesting, well-lit and clearly presented that they compete with the window for attention; consider darkening the interior somewhat.

I like the way the trees frame the vehicles, and how the trees and vehicles are framed by the car window. And thanks for the extra info. It's always interesting to hear more about the shot.

I like the fact that everything in this shot is old and abandoned. It has a faded feel to it. I also wonder how this would look if it was edgy and super contrasty.

I was looking for something like this with a broken glass window. This image is well done and the composition is terrific. Reminds me of a Tennessee Williams scene.
