Extra Info: This theater has giant letter shaped windows that overlook the bay. While waiting for their show to start, people enjoy drinks from bar and watch the world go by through these letter windows.

The glass in the letters is clear. Their color comes from the light in the rooms behind shining through them.

My #1. What a tragedy that the water isn't really there. Such an oversight. I'm going to start a campaign to have the Millennium Centre dig a hole in front of their building and fill it with water :-). Then it would be a Welsh national treasure for sure.
Thanks for the link to the water reflections tutorial. I'll have to give that a try..

Thank you both very much for the wonderful comments :-) .

Lo - Sadly they can't actually see the reflections in the water as they aren't actually there. When I said that the windows overlooked the bay, this is true as such. They overlook part of Cardiff Bay which is what this area of Cardiff is called. The actual water part of Cardiff Bay is somewhat to the left of this photo.

I signed up for and downloaded the full version of Photoshop to edit this photo as it had a 7 day free cancelation, which I made sure I did after 5 days ;-) . There is a link to how I did the reflection in my PP notes. I took some shots from the other side of the letters looking out if you'd like to see them? The area was closed off but a helpful security woman let me up there :-) .

It must be wonderful to sit inside and watch the reflections on the water. The windows are beautiful in their own right, but the reflections add another level of beauty. Well done.

Fabulous! I am thankful for your notes because my first impression was that the words were done with lights. Bumping up to top spot.

A striking scene, well shot. Great colors and reflection. The type somewhat overwhelms the windows, however.

Wow, what a spectacular building! Actually, I really love the reflection on the water more than anything else.

Thank you both for the great comments :-) .

SteveBee - Yes, I find the words rather thought provoking too, or a bit of a head scratcher even!

A most colorful take on the challenge. What a great structure. Nicely composed and perfectly lighted. Great job.

Striking building and beautiful capture. The words are intriguing:

Creu Gwir Fel Gwydr O Ffwrnais Awen (Truth is as clear as glass forged in the flames of inspiration.) In These Stones Horizons Sing.
