The dof is excellent and even the tussocks look interesting.

Great use of DOF to be able to maintain clarity throughout the photo.

soil?! Guess I was attracted to this shot because of the dry, rocky, somewhat barren nature of the landscape with the simple small brick structures, at least one without roof. That's an interesting image I don't see very often. Might have shortened up a bit on the foreground and tried to make the blue pickup more of the main subject (and gotten it in the 1/3 spot) if possible, just a thought. Would have cloned out the distracting twigs in immediate foreground.

A striking image that's just what the Challenge asked for. Especially like the foreground detail and the contrast of the blue truck. A top favorite.

I wouldn't call this the most appealing imagery - but I'm in awe how you achieved such a sharp focus of everything from close foreground all the way to the mountains in the background with a f3.1 aperture! Perfect bulls eye on the theme of this challenge, and for a technically well done photo, I give it high marks.

Right on theme. Low angle emphasizing the foreground makes it work. Among my favorites.

I'm surprised the dof is so good given the aperture. Beautifully sharp as far as the eye can see. I'm guessing that soil must be really hard to plough!
