Not sure why this isn't higher but I expect unless you have been there, you truly don't understand how well this captures the place.

This looks like a beautiful place to live. As for eternity, I'm always amused that most people consider it a time after death. I prefer this quote from Gordon Hinckley:
Today is a part of eternity.

I really like the composition of this photograph - everything leads the eye to the cross that dominates the sky.

This is in the French Alps near Briançon, the highest city in France. And yes, there are tons of snow here in winter !

A surprisingly high cross - where is this? Do they get a lot of snow there?

Colors are a bit flat but it's a cloudy day. Nice sky. I've never seen a cross so high up in the air!. Lovely quote. The modern buildings to the left is a bit distracting.

This is such an ordinary scene....for such an extraordinary part of the world. The composition, subject, cloud, composition, despite the relatively flat lighting and lack of high contrast, just make this work. Top ten.

One of the joys of the mini challenge there is no theme so judging is on the “ What I like” or “What appeals to my sense of humour “
Every picture has a story some are disclosed and some not, this doesn’t matter as The Image has meaning to every entry

the memories this image must bring you, thank you for sharing
