Good to be in your top ten....if I had Neat's vote (if she'd voted for my than 5 images) I might just have bumped her! : D (This one needed a little more work...I have to stop waiting for the last day to get some shots together).

Thanks Garden girl. Alas not enough to make top ten but close!

Thank you all for your votes and comments. Each one is appreciated.

I hope to post outtakes this evening. I am interested in your thoughts when you see how much I altered the original image..pro and con.

jomari As you'll see in outtakes, I definitely prefer Mondrian to the alternatives!

Mepo The count is now four to three for the tree!

Lo That makes it a three three tie for with the tree as is or not.

Great find. Who doesn't love a bit of Mondrian? High in my faves.

A good find. Including the trees was a great idea.

I like the vibrant colours emphasizing the shapes, The tree is a bit of a problem - I like the fact that it grounds the photo, buteither it should be more prevalent or not be there at all.

aoc The count is now three to two for the tree.

Nicely shot. The tree branch turns it from what might be just a Mondrian knock-off into an actual thing that's out there in the real world.

ysal It is a Japanese food teriyaki company.

kerszkavet It's in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. I'll try to post the original in outtakes.

RL Well so far that is two for the tree out and two for the tree in. I thought it gave a little perspective and scale though I noted it was not as abstract and clean an image.

Maike Me too. I used, ah, a little artistic license to make this work (I'm a frustrated architect inside).

Neat Wow a great from you is ...great!

SteveBee Thanks.

fc Never thought of an exposure card but now that you mention it...

Great shot of an amazing building. Who occupies it?

That's a great subject - where is it? Do you have a shot of the whole building? If so, please post in outtakes

I like the tree on the left, and the reflections, which provide a good contrast to the (maybe a bit too bright?) Mondrian-inspired building.

Great find and just right for the challenge. IMHO, the tree is distracting and I would have cropped it out.

Love all the different rectangular shapes and how the coloured rectangles contrast with the black lines and white rectangles. The windows and tree branches add nice touches of interest and prevent the shot becoming too abstract.

Great, I would of cropped the tree out, or cloned it.
