What!!! This was in my top 5. I thought it is quite well done.

    Thanks for the comments:

forkcandles/ysal: Yes, it did indeed take a while to get this set up, as the hangers really wanted to slide off each other. I think from now on I'll stick to using the hangers to hang clothes on.

Jade O: Your hangers may need obedience training :-).

babysister: I did try it flipped L to R but personally preferred this orientation. Interestingly my wife preferred the flipped L to R version. I'm right handed and she's left handed so perhaps that has something to do with our preferences. You're not left handed by any chance?

Mepo/aoc46: I tried a plain white background but personally thought it looked a bit harsh. I preferred the slightly softer look created with the bedspread, although I should maybe have ironed it first :-). Maybe a uniform grey background would have worked best.

A good idea and an attractive pattern but I think the background distracts too much.

I like your creative composition. You've set it up perfectly. B&W really works here.

Nice diagonal line. Did you try flipping it L to R? I like the overall effect and right on theme.

Interesting repeated shapes. The 'formal' arrangement of the coat hangers would seem better suited to a plain white background than a rumpled bed-sheet.

A clear repeat though it looks like a wholly unnatural set up...my hangers never get in order!

Great idea. How long did it take you to arrange these just right? It was worth it, great result.

Good choice of B&W, and a strong picture from something so mundane

Clever use of household objects. The B&W treatment is most effective.
