Congrats. You just increased my homesickness for the ocean.

Despite the limitations of your camera and software, you still made 3rd Place. Congratulations!

What a lovely view. The colour of the sunset and over the water is beautiful.

I'm apologise to everyone thought the slightly off horizontal skyline. I'm on holiday and the PM abilities of my tablet are limited and it doesnt seem to save most of what I do them :-( . I think I am less sensitive to the slight tilt than most people. I wouldn't have entered it if I thought it would have irritated so much.

Beautiful colours and waves. The tilted horizon bothers me enough to edge this out of top place, but I still have it high in my faves.

Lovely lighting and beautiful wave formations. I don't even mind the sloping horizon. (the colour balance works well like this)

    Thank you both very much.

Maike13 - sadly my phone doesn't do exposure bracketing but had to use what I had with me at the time.

Gorgeous shot of waves. The tilted horizon unfortunately steals all my attention away from the beauty.

Attractive shot although I'm not totally sold on the way the sun looks. Perhaps combine two shots taken at different exposures, one for the water and one for the sky?

    Thanks very much both.

aoc46 - it was brighter a few minutes before, too bright in fact so I chose this summer version.

Jade O - I will try again when I get home from my holiday. My tablets software has been fighting me so I had to enter it as it was.

I like the patterns of the waves, except the lowest one, where the diagonal part seems out of place; consider cropping it out. The sunlight on the water looks odd - shouldn't it be much brighter with the sun that low in the sky?

Nice waves, nice colour but....tilting horizon and blown out sun...next time around I'd suggest be thankful your final image was almost SOOC and do a little PP clean up to really make it perfect.
