I'm happy as I have a grate job!       ©2020 A.N.Other

Extra Info: This grater has been in my family for as long as I can remember. It has now been passed down to me as a kind of family heirloom and it sees regular use. They don't make them like this anymore....oh wait, yes they do! You can't beat a design classic :-) .

Great use of lighting and composition to turn this old grater into something really special. I like the coloured lights in the interior.

A design classic indeed. Good choice of shoat angle - make sit more interesting.

Nice use of complementary colors and certainly an unusual view of an ordinary object. The "face" seems quite appropriate for Halloween.

Yep. I have one. I thought it was a cardboard box so interesting capture and an unusual take on a common object.

Thank you very much all :-)

ysal - Yes they are colour changing LED lights placed below the grater, so you can see the grating pattern on its other sides through the holes.

forkcandles - sounds like a grate idea! I never realised how jagged they were until I took this closeup.

What a great idea and it came out great! Are those real blue lights inside?

Wonderful! The lighting helps bring the inanimate object to life.
