Extra Info:
Experimental shot attempting abstract patterns to contrast with the more solid colours of the ornaments. This image combines multiple layers of glass. You are viewing through a glass panel in my hall, through the coloured objects into a room and out through the the exterior window represented by the light area. The dark areas at the top of the image are generated by distortion of my neighbours roof

I still really like that architectural glass! The photo is pretty good too.

Thanks for all your comments. It certainly kept me occupied during the current lockdown period since I took a multitude of shots from both sides of the glass and the most difficult part was deciding which image to enter into the challenge, This entry was one of my later efforts

Congratulations Breadmaker. The distortion created some interesting patterns.

This was my second pick. I loved it. You have some very intriguing comments on this, I think you fired up a lot of imaginations. Well done!
p.s. I'm surprised they let you handle that glass when you were only 5. ;-)

Like the patterns and colors -- you've really explored the theme in depth.

Jade. O, Thanks for your commemnts. This sample is approx. 1/3rd of the whole panel which only measures 15"x39". Not sure what the glass is but I installed it around 40 years ago!

Keep experimenting. I think if you'd had a more artistic still life composition this might be stunning. I am intrigued by your glass panel. I love glass as an architectural element and don't recognize this pattern. It's a bit to ask but if you could I'd love to see what the whole panel looks like.

Thanks for all your comments.
jomari. I did play around a lot and took umpteen shots from both sides of the glass panel from different angles and in different light conditions.
I did have difficulty in deciding which one to enter. As you say all good fun and kept me out of mischief during this miserable lockdown!

I really like this a lot. I particularly love the abstract patterns from the windows and roof. Isn't it fun to play?

I don't know why but Man of La Mancha popped into my mid immediately (I know, what am I drinking?) This is very creative and came out extremely interesting. Great job.

Great vision to see the possibilities of such a complicated light path. Makes for a wonderful shot. Sort of abstract, but still recognizable. Love the colours.

The is something endearing about this image. The blue bottle looks like a man with a hat!
