Panasonic DMC-FZ70       16th place, 38 points
1/160s, f4.9, ISO 100, 116mm, Normal Program, Pattern, no flash

Post-Processing: Crop, resize, Topaz Clean > edge boost, Filter Forge vibrance, Top denoise > light       Extra Info: This is not a lensbaby shot although I think it resembles one a bit. This is shot through a glass thing that is neither a bowl nor a lid and I can't remember its origins. It has a rim a little more than 1/2" wide around a shaped bowl like part, but no flat bottom. The whole thing is about 6" wide.

Interesting technique. It looks like you moved the bowl quite a bit during the shot?. I like the colour and brightness of the sun lit leaves.

You've achieved a very interesting effect with the glass thing. I really like the distortion on the right. I think the normal view on the left detracts from the abstract nature of the photo, and could have been cropped a bit.

I'm curious as to what the 'glass thing' looks like. Maybe you could put a photo of it in the outtakes?

Interesting concept, with good color rendition. The two sides sort of compete; consider cropping to either the right or left two-thirds.

I actually like this effect quite a bit. Looks like selective motion blur and the colour and lighting is vibrant. Half way between abstract and surreal it works quite well and suggests some possibilities for all kinds of great images using different subject matters such as an action shot in a field sports event, or a traffic scene, etc.

Lots of movement in the image. Great colors.
