Post-Processing:
Crop, adjustments to exposure and brightness, remove minor distractions. Convert to monochrome. Apply noise reduction, resize, sharpen.
Extra Info:
This simple, white building is quite striking at night, brightly-lit and alone in its empty parking lot after the store has closed.

I like the composition you have chosen. The abandoned parking lot is integral to the feel of the space at night. Beautiful detail.

Excellent job capturing the striking look of this building that you describe in the Extra Info. I would have spent ages trying to decide how to compose/crop this, but I think you got it just right. The balance between the dark and light areas feels very natural.

Quite an effective architectural shot, clean and simple. The unusual framing gives the image all its power. I think you need the foreground somewhat lit to add depth but for some reason my eye is pulled to the barely lit pavement which is not what you want. I may be wrong about the lighting and maybe the subject could be darker but I still worry that you need the foreground. The alternative is to frame the building tighter but a tighter crop means losing all the power of your composition that you have achieved here. I have to ponder. This might be my top pick.

I like the composition with the large amount of black foreground - it emphasizes the 'loneliness' of the building.

Great example of minimalism. This image has the feel of a Hopper painting. Well done.
