Beautiful tones and shapes and detail. It is so clear and sharp (in more ways than one).

It looks like liquid silver! Excellent timing to capture the droplet. The blurred background really forms a great backdrop, and the detail is beautiful.

Really monochrome. Good sharpness in the moving trop too. In my TT.

Great sharpness and B&W helps show the detail on the ice. Nice sense of motion in the drop.

My first thought was the droplet should be sharp but then thought it does give a sense of movement...almost surreal in effect I like the subject detail and sharpness and dislike the framing. I would have gone landscape rather than portrait orientation with a lot more negative space to the right to hold closer to the rule of thirds. As is the central presentation and the droplet so far from the rule of thirds location, overall it leaves me feeling a little flat. So great detail, compelling subject, missed opportunity with the framing.

As you don't say otherwise I assume this is a single exposure. The timing is perfect. The detail is exquisite. The background so smooth. Well done.

Great capture and range of tonal values. I'd like to see the icicle and water drop look somehow more different from each other - more like ice vs. water. Maybe darken the drop and lighten the ice?

Looks a bit more like metal than ice, but an effective and interesting shot.
