22 days ago		     This immediately evoked for me a Group of Seven painting, something like Lawren Harris (January Thaw, Edge of Town) or Peter Clapham Sheppard (Elizabeth Street, Toronto) for its presentation of a cluster of houses in the snow. While some might see a "snapshot" I think there is a complex composition here that works quite well. For me the first test is always, if I don't see something particularly bad it is probably quite good and the subtleties begin to reveal themselves. This is quite nice.
