Congratulations Steve, the detail in this is really excellent, and the star trails are mesmerizing. |

This was my top pick. Wish I could do star trails ....this scene is anything but run of the mill... |

I really like this old mill and the sepia treatment works beautifully. The star trails and moving water add an interesting effect. I would have placed it higher if it were straightened. |

Fascinating picture, interesting pairing of the time-created water rivulets and the star trails, Great exposure, and choice of sepia gives it a classic feel. |

I can appreciate all the effort that has gone into this image. My only critique would be the leaning mill. Nicely done. |

I sighed and appreciated all the work that has gone into this image. I like the sepia tones. Not sure whether I like the tilt. |

I really love this shot although I'm not convinced the star trails really add to it. I think I'd have liked it just as well without them. Impressive technique though. |

Great shot of the old mill - the sepia tone reinforces the antiquity. While I'm not a big fan of star trails, they're well done. Might like to darken the bright bits on the center right edge. |

From the milky water to the star trails, this is something I have seen many times before - but I couldn't do it. I think the mill is the star (excuse the pun) here and to that degree the star trails both detract attention from the subject and enhance the timelessness of the scene. Not a fan of sepia generally but it works well here. I think I am bothered by the lack of verticals in the building most. That could be corrected by you'd need to layer over the star trails to hold their shape. |

The building and the surrounding water are simply outstanding. The sepia tone is most effective. The star trails are superfluous and somewhat distracting. IMHO- this is a case where less is more. |

I'm not quite sure if the star trails are an addition or a distraction here. The building and the cloudy running water are all stunningly beautiful. I want to focus on those. |
