I really liked this shot - brings back happy memories of the English coast.

Congrats on your high finish. This one really is a keeper, not for the phobia, just for the shot itself!

A lovely subtle narrative in a beautiful composition.

This is a beautifully composed image. Seemingly harmless situations creating unexplainable fears.

I have this fear but don't get it looking at the photo. The photo is lovely in itself but I feel the couple and the planks should be cropped to add to the emphasis, and make the gaps appear to be larger.

I like the balance of the composition. The lighting is well used. The focus and color are pleasing. The people examining the boards is a nice touch for hinting at a fear.

As for appropriateness for this phobia, we were not supposed to "make one up". I have not been able to find this phobia in my online searches. Please tell us what it is called.

I really like this shot but unfortunately it does not relate to any approved phobia. Your reaction to open planks must be disconcerting at times, just because it isn't a recognized phobia doesn't make it any less real. During this challenge I learned that one of my phobias is usually a learned response. That got me dredging my memory and I eventually remembered an incident, long forgotten, that appears to explain my fear. Very interesting indeed. I bet the couple in the shot would love a copy of this - well done.

I really like the way you have illustrated this phobia - love the centred composition that draws the eye in to the totally unrehearsed couple in the forground.

Striking shot, well-composed. Are you sure it isn't autocledroptophobia - fear of losing your car keys?

Like this as it seems the lady is testing the plank

Nice shot, for a different challenge, but would need a bit more interest in the background. It doesn't appear to be a recognised phobia.

Good composition and point of view. The couple looking downward is the key to this fitting the theme. It does look slightly underexposed. A high favorite.
