    thanks for the comments - it was the lines that drew me to this picture. I took a number with more people in them, with cars, some long exposures to get some blurring - but preferred this shot because of the absence of cars or anything interesting. I did intend to go back another time later, to try and get it even more deserted - I like the contrast to its usual weekday activity, when it is full of traffic. also having more cars and activity in the shot takes the attention away from the lines.

    I like the straightforward composition of this shot. It underlines the basic, no-frills character of this huge tunnel.

    I like this very much. The lines on top (lights) and the lines on the road unifies the image. Top image.

    Definitely on theme. A bit pedestrian (sorry, couldn't resist). I wish something more interesting were happening.

    Nice perspective, I think taking the shot from the left or right side of the tunnel would give a better composition. A long shutter speed blurring the people I think would also help.
