Thank you very much everyone, I'm very honored!!

As few of you commented, I wish the foreground flower was not there, but oh well. Did you notice, you can see my reflection in her eye?

Nice shot of hummingbird, IMO the flowers out of focus are distracting.

What an incredible shot to have as the first to view. Leading the pack in more ways than one. Everything is right about this. Well done.

I love the contrast between the amazingly sharp head and the blur of wings.

Well done, not easy to capture. The blurred flowers in the foreground are somewhat distracting.

I'd heard about a camera that was so fast, it could catch a female with her mouth closed, and this looks like the one. Great shot and my#1.

fine capture of this little creature. i never see them around here (or maybe i don't know where to look). do you use a tripod and prefocus or do they hover long enough to get this good focus. great shot.

Technically, an excellent shot on several fronts. I'm sure it will do well in the voting.

wow being first in the viewing list is not a disadvantage this time
you have set a very high standard you captured this well and I expect you have these in your backyard.

Well done in all aspects. Nicely blurred background, well composed, sharp, colorful, good lighting of the bird. High favorite, probably #1.

Superb. All natural, no distracting background, background nicely out of focus and yet beautifully lit and coloured to set off the subject, target flowers nicely placed (excepting only the out of focus foreground flower which is the only detraction and the only thing I can see to improve the shot), and best of all, the subject -- wonderfully lit, perfectly focused, with a well lit naturally lit eye, and, wonder of wonders, taken at an "original" angle. Not sure whose this is but I am going to guess it goes down on your list of all time great shots you've taken.
