Nice sharp detail and well focussed, but, IMO it feels that the silo's dominate too much of the picture. Would it not have been possibe to move further back and take a landscape shot?

While maybe not a landscape in the classic sense, it's certainly industrial and well composed. The graffiti covered freight/grain car in the foreground, and the processing, really makes this image stand out.

In a very strong field, this is one of my favorites.

Good strong shot, right on theme but it would be even better without the wagon and graffiti.

The graffiti adds to this photo. Well composed and technically good with a lovely sky. Well done.

Chop the shot just above the rail car and the image for me is twice as good. But I appreciate the artisitc merits of your perspective and the colour is outstanding.

Great composition of a very interesting industrial building. Very well shot. I'm still trying to decide if I like the graffiti covered sign in the front. I think the shot works with or without it.

the position of the train or mobile rt gallery works with the stacks and the blue sky

I like the composition - I feel my eye being drawn toward the hopper. Great detail and colour. I'm of two minds about the graffiti. It draws attention away from the subject, but it also adds interest.

Strong image. I like the drab grey of the silos, accentuated by the colored railcar in the foreground (made for a more interesting image). Technically, everything is sharp and correctly exposed. In my faves.

Nice perspective on what can be a difficult subject. Well done.

This is one of my favourites, bold and spot on for the challenge. The rather tight framing makes be wonder what other structures lurked out of shot and adds to the overall appeal and my appreciation of the image.

    Theme - 5
Technical - 4
Composition - 3 feels cramped in the frame; a wider perspective would help; sort of a two subject composition (silos and rail car)
Originality - 4 The graffiti on the rail car is in striking contrast both thematically and colorwise to the rest of the image. Some might think it too incongruous, but I think it makes the image more interesting
Overall impression - 4
