Thanks for all your comments. I have just retuned from holiday so it was a nice surprise to see this photo had placed 6th. The pedestrians were not posed. There were a lot of them taking the foot bridge home from work. I preferred this placement over the many others I took on the day. It was overcast and stormy with a blue sky behind. Trying to time it right to catch an impressive sky and get the lighting on the foreground was dicey.

Love the arches, one of my top favs.

The bridge arches contrast well with the buildings. Good photo.

I like the tunnel effect of the arches -- very nice composition. Wondering why the lower part of the sky is an oddly different shade of blue than the upper part.

Good view but would have moved slightly so the hoop in the middle of the image did not cut that last coloured part out.

Well composed. I like the view of the buildings through the concentric circles, especially with that magnificent sky.

Love the disappearing hoops as they take you out of the picture. Nice composition.

Well chosen perspective; pleasing colors; all nicely exposed and in focus. An interesting composition that is beautifully balanced between the airy, thin lines of the bridge arches with the substantial heft of the buildings in the background, all cemented together by the curving line of the walkway.

I really like the contrast between the curved and straight lines, and getting the human interest sets it apart.

did you consider b&W - would be interesting to see if it adds anything....

Very striking design and composition, though would prefer if the figure were about two steps to her right.

A lovely bridge and composition. I think it just needs a tweak more exposure on the bridge and pedestrian. Love sky.

I like the angle you have chosen for this shot and overall greyness contrasts nicely with the sky
