#157 Opposites Attract ... Our Attention
Entry 5 of 28

+ and - Poles attract       ©2015 Zhaark
Nikon D7100       5th place, 144 points
1/40s, f5, ISO 100, 90mm, Aperture Priority, Pattern, no flash

Post-Processing: Some spot healing, vignette, clone brush and exposure adjustment.       Extra Info: This is basically what I saw when taking the photograph. Not a very interesting photo but a very unique idea. I never saw anything like this done before.......
I used magenta and cyan coloured printer toner and mixed it with metal shavings. These blue and red coloured shaving were placed seperately on a white paper. I then pulled two magnets underneath the paper toward eachother and I got this effect. You can clearly see the magnetic field pulling the shavings towards each other.

Thank you all for the very very kind comments.
And for those of you voting for me, thank you very very much. :-)
Hopefully I will get to adding some comments of my own in the future.
My equipment got stolen, so i am not able to comment from my home. :-)

Congrats on your top five finish.

The "opposite" is not obvious, but I suppose the explanation was enough to "polarize" the the voters!!!

I disagree, it is a very interesting image. Perfectly on-theme. Opposites do attract. Well done - high in my favs.

Very creative - the detail is great. It's interesting how the white paper was affected by the manipulation of the toner. HIgh in my list.

Looks like a couple of punk urchins having a bad hair day.

Wow! Awesome shot. You say "not very interesting," but I must disagree.

Your Extra Info pretty much covers it - like the idea, the photo not so much.
