Really nice shot - surprised it didn't do better.

Lovely shot, beautifully executed. I prefer the presentation of the Main entry.

Not bad but not as good as the Main assuming it is the same person.

I prefer the composition and crop of your entry in the main category. The processing seems a bit more effective there, as well. Nevertheless, this entry makes my top ten.....barely.

Too white..I can't make out how many little ducks there are..is there 8 or 4 and 4 reflections?

Attractive composition and charming subject.your post processing gives an old fashioned feel.

Nice composition. I don't think that this is as good as the first one. The ducklings are not defined enough.

Forkcandles: Geese don't have ducklings, they have goslings -- but congratulations for astutely recognizing large vs small or adult vs. baby as opposing concepts.

as with your other entry i assume that the ducklings are opposite to the geese

aoc46 - Appreciate your comment. I think every image can be interpreted multiple ways. I elected not to "explain" the image in the title or extra info as most did, though opposites/contrasts might include young/old, male/female, large/small. The intent of the challenge (created by me) was "seeing" and then composing an interesting/compelling image. Too bad so many did not understand what was meant by "seeing" and chose instead to just arrange objects. Obviously, anyone can arrange objects, but that is manipulating, not "seeing".

Great composition, beautiful graphic treatment - very nicely done. However, the idea that jumps out at me is not so much "opposites" (though they certainly are there) as something more like "family unity."
