Entry 4 of 21

Transformer building       ©2015 aKilter
Panasonic DMC-G6       4th place, 171 points
1/125s, f5.6, ISO 160, 24mm, aperture priority, ?, no flash

Post-Processing: Crop, brightness, shadow enhancement, structure enhancement, contrast and sharpening       Extra Info: This was an old Post Office that was no longer in use, and in danger of being torn down. Instead, it was renovated and a new, somewhat controversial, modern addition was made......resulting in an Art Museum.

Wow! 4th place! Your best main finish so far! (and to think, it almost didn't make it into the challenge...)

Not wild about the pp effects but maybe they make an ordinary shot into something with a bit more interest.

AS well as old and new this could be straight and curved lines. Lovely contrast of buildings.

Interesting structures, nicely composed shot. Says "different" certainly, but to me, not so much"opposite."

I love this old and new combination, great idea to turn it into a museum! Has an HDR look but your notes does not say, so I assume it's lighting. I think it's effective for this subject. One of my favorites.

A really clear, sharp image showing incredible detail. Well done. Not too sure about the angle you have chosen which appear to me to distort the old post office slightly and get it leaning to the left. In my favourites.

Very nice photo that I liked when I first saw it but had to read the description before placing it high on my favorites list. Nicely done.
