    Not nearly as neglected as some here, but certainly on theme. I find that it is difficult to imagine a story for this entry. I suppose more context would be needed for that.

    I don't know for certain, but think you might have also taken the Carmel Mission photo in the main challenge. I generally like detail close up shots that are well conceived, and I loved the one in the main challenge. However, as much as I liked that shot, this one is not nearly as effective.

There's too much clutter in the frame here. A close up photo such as this, needs a clean, clear focal point, without too many distractions competing for attention. Also, although I realize it was probably difficult to decide what to straighten, the uneven top of the primary window, especially since it's so close to the edge of the frame, doesn't help the situation.

    Maybe not very much abandoned, but surly neglected. Something i like about this entry, just cant put my finger on it....
Great composition and details. Good exposure. B&W fits nicely.
