This was my top pick. Such a gorgeous image, beautiful location perfectly shot. I thought it would finish higher.

What a beautiful spot! The blue waters, the greenery, and those adorable houses! Your composition is perfect. One of my top picks for sure.

Very beautiful scene. Gorgeous details on the houses and foliage. There's nothing really wrong in the photo, but there are just simply stronger photos in the challenge. But this is in my faves.

Thanks for the comments. I really liked the evening light on the typical Maine Coast buildings. Many of you don't seem to share my enthusiasm for the sky, but I felt that the down-sweep of the clouds, along with the ripples in the water, leads the eye toward the village and gives a sense of motion to the scene. This crop also puts the buildings in a good place 'rule-of-thirds'-wise.

beautiful 'want to be there scene'. i tighter crop would better reinforce your extra info or help the uninformed viewer. (just my thoughts.... i usually open an entry with another program and try the suggestion i make before commenting)

There's a purity to the detail in this photo that is just beautiful. Even the colours have a crispness to them. I feel that the sky could be cropped a bit to make the buildings more prominent, but that's minor in terms of the beautiful landscape you've captured.

Superb landscape. Lovely colours and light. I wonder if less sky would further improve the image?

Beautiful scene, but a lot of uninteresting sky. Crop more tightly on the interesting village.

the blue sky takes the interest away and a panarama crop would make more of the pots
