Thanks for the link. So it's the amazing 'Fryscaper' LOL Not sure I would want to live around there :-) It sure looked like a massive auditorium with seats to me. Loved the shot!

Thanks for all the comments, and glad you liked it.
The photo is looking straight up from the foot of the 'Walkie-Talkie' building in London. The building curves out at the top, so its top floorplan is bigger than its footprint.

The vertical lines are parallel, so my understanding is that the vanishing point is implied and out of the frame.

I love the idea of a 10,000 metre hurdles... That would be some race!

I almost titled it Artificial Lavender Field, as that was my first reaction on seeing the picture.

What a fascinating photo. It looks like the start of the 10,000m hurdles in the Olympics! What is it/are they? GL.

Intrigued to know just what is in the frame here, can't even hazard a guess! Whatever the subject it is puzzling me but extremely well executed. However I am struggling with the vanishing point, maybe an explanation post voting would help.

Love the pure crisp lines leading upward. A very striking image. Would love to know where this is taken.

Great eye on this one. Love it. It's especially interesting given that the vanishing point for the front rows would actually be in the photo if they did not rise upwards. Once the curve starts there are multiple vanishing points gradually rising higher and higher. The other intriguing part is that each row of seats has it's own set of parallel lines and so will have it's own vanishing point along each successive horizon line.

Clean and artistic, it is a struggle for me to accept this as a clear VP image though it certainly is better on topic than many here.

Excellent simplicity and detail at the same time... it is always difficult to have the simple images interesting too... I think you did very well.
